No I - in Team

When deciding to hire a vendor for their services, there are many factors you probably take into consideration: cost, professionalism, customer reviews, etc. But of all these aspects, how important is a back-up plan in your selection of a vendor?

In an earlier blog entry, backup equipment was highlighted as being an essential component of any well-prepared DJ. But what should happen if the DJ themselves becomes suddenly unavailable? It's not pleasant to think about, but when paying out hard-earned dollars, don't you want the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you're going to be in good hands no matter what happens?

Double Platinum Celebrations has a leg up on the competition, mainly because when a customer hires us for their function, they are truly hiring us. On your Special Day, we leave nothing to chance, which is why we have backup Djs ready to go should the unforeseeable happen. A company with one or two Djs can advertise cheap costs, but they don't have a backup plan. Why take the chance? Choose peace of mind: choose Double Platinum Celebrations !

Lauren & Jason's Wedding May 22nd, 2010

Lauren & Jason were married and had their reception at the Cliffside Lodge in Poland, Maine.
The young military couple were stationed at BNAS and were ready to start their lives together after a brief engagement and soon to be trek across country as the Naval Air Station prepares for closure.

It was our first time at the Cliffside Lodge and it was absoloutely beautiful. We worked with Bellefete Catering. Lori Kinkade and her staff were amazing to work with ! The floral arrangements and linens were perfect and the food was delicious. Everything was coordinated with Bellefete in advance and went off perfectly. We look forward to working with Bellefete Catering again and highly recommend their services.

The intimate ceremony took place on the grounds as the bridal party made their entrance down a gravel pathway to the ceremony area surrounded by loved ones .

The Bridesmaids entered to " Air on a G String " , as the Bride'd entrance song was " Cannon in Gigue D." The Recessional was " Somewhere over the Rainbow " by Israel Kamakowski.

The Grand entrance choice was " Beautiful Day " by U2 ( and it was a beautiful day ). Lauren and Jason chose " At Last " by Etta James as their 1st Dance . After Toasts and Dinner ( and toasted Smores ) " Sweetest Thing " by U2 played out for the Cake Cutting which was followed by " My Girl " by the Temptations for the F/D dance and " In My Life " by the Beatles for the M/S Dance.
Several songs from the " Top Gun " soundtrack were played to coincide with the military dress and nature of service from the United States Armed Forces.
