More wedding trends to look for in 2014!

Look for more purple weddings! Deep purples and plum-like colors are going to be some of the most used of the year. Also, cool reds, warm yellows, and oranges will be huge in the 2014 season!

We have not seen the last of the mason jars. We know you may be sick of them by now, but face it, they are perfect for that rustic, old fashioned look.

Inspiration from the 1920's will prevail, bringing dramatic veils, cap sleeve gowns, fur wraps, and last but not least.... THE BOW TIE!

Feathers are going to be big in 2014 as well. Whether they are on the gown, in the hair, or used as decor at the reception.

We found that the DJ is one of the most important aspects of the wedding. They set the mood with song choices and keep the night's events running on time and running smoothly. We can not say enough good things about DJ Pat. You were amazing! His professionalism and organization were above and beyond. We had been to many weddings in the months leading up to ours and saw first hand how important the DJ was to the reception and we saw many a bad DJ. After our wedding, many friends came up to us and complimented Pat. He listened to our ideas and what was important to us and gave us valuable suggestions. We highly recommend anyone hire DJ Pat for their event!

The Wedding Party was introduced to " One More Time ' by Daft Punk and the Bride & Groom made a special entrance to  an all instrumental version of " Dead Wrong " by Biggie.

The couple's First Dance was " Delicate" by Damien Rice.

September 3, 2011 Christina & Kevin's Wedding

On September 3, 2011 DJ Pat returned to the Italian Heritage Center for a big , fun Italian wedding !
The room was at capacity for this celebration ! The Wedding Party was introduced to " Sirius " by the Alan Parsons Project , and the Bride & Groom entered to " It takes two " by Rob Base .

The couple's First Dance was "Everything " by Michael Buble.

 The dance floor stayed packed all night and everyone had a great time dancing !

August 7, 2011 Megan & David's Wedding

Megan & David tied the knot at Keeley the Kater's for a Sunday Wedding. The ceremony took place at Keeleys, quickly followed by cocktail hour and dinner.

The Wedding Party was introduced to " Twilight Zone " by Underground Spell . The Bride & Groom entered to " Back in Black " by AC/DC.

 The couple's First Dance was to " It's your Love " Faith Hill & Tim McGraw .

May 28, 2011 Wedding Liz & Adam

In 2010 ; Maine DJ Patrick Daniels hosted a Surprise Party at The Gold Room in Portland . The clients were so impressed they called back months later and asked DJ Pat what date he had available so they could guarantee they had him for their wedding day celebration.

Liz & Adam celebrated their reception at Keeley the Katerer in Portland, Maine.

Liz & Adam had a tropical theme as they were married in the tropics earlier in the year.

A slideshow of the ceremony preceeded the Bride & Groom's introduction.

Their First Dance was " Come away with me " by Norah Jones.

Henry & Sarah July 3rd, 2010

Henry & Sarah had their wedding day at Keeley the Katerer in Portland, Maine. Keeleys has been in busines over 30 years as a premiere function facility specializing in weddings. Steve and his staff do a wonderful job there !

Originally, Henry & Sarah had scheduled a fall date for their wedding and had DJ Pat for their wedding date. A few months after securing DJ Pat, the couple received some wonderful news .. Sarah was expecting and they had to move everything around !

No problems, no fears there... Everything was moved forward to July 3rd, same venue ..same everything .. with the exception of DJ Mark from Best Maine DJS ( DJ Pat's other company ) taking over all the DJ duties for their re-scheduled date .

DJ Mark phoned in the next morning to report on how much fun he, and everyone else had !
