Double Platinum Celebrations and Maine's  Legendary Classic Rock Station, WBLM are officially linked !  Brian James , The Guru, The Voice of the Afternoon Express has been added to  Double Platinum Celebrations, as one of the Best Maine DJs .

Brian  ( The Gu ) debuted with DJ Pat earlier this summer at the Class of 1982 PHS reunion at The Gold Room.
It was a smashing success as Brian was introduced to the alumni on the dance floor playing some great 80's classics .  A special duo package is being developed with The Guru and one of our top Club DJs. Stay tuned for exciting details !!

We found that the DJ is one of the most important aspects of the wedding. They set the mood with song choices and keep the night's events running on time and running smoothly. We can not say enough good things about DJ Pat. You were amazing! His professionalism and organization were above and beyond. We had been to many weddings in the months leading up to ours and saw first hand how important the DJ was to the reception and we saw many a bad DJ. After our wedding, many friends came up to us and complimented Pat. He listened to our ideas and what was important to us and gave us valuable suggestions. We highly recommend anyone hire DJ Pat for their event!

September 3, 2011 Christina & Kevin's Wedding

On September 3, 2011 DJ Pat returned to the Italian Heritage Center for a big , fun Italian wedding !
The room was at capacity for this celebration ! The Wedding Party was introduced to " Sirius " by the Alan Parsons Project , and the Bride & Groom entered to " It takes two " by Rob Base .

The couple's First Dance was "Everything " by Michael Buble.

 The dance floor stayed packed all night and everyone had a great time dancing !

June 11, 2011 Brandi & Ryan's Wedding

Brandi & Ryan are friends of ours in the Wedding Industry. They are Wedding Photographers whom we have had the pleasure of working with . When it was time for their own wedding, they immediately reached out to Double Platinum Celebrations to secure the services of Maine Wedding DJ Patrick Daniels.

DJ Pat traveled to the Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono, Maine to provide ceremony services and rreception entertainment for this festive gathering.

The Wedding Party was introduced to " Don't Stop Believin' " by Journey and the newlyweds entered to " Raise your Glasses " by Pink. Brandi & Ryan's First Dance was " Lost " by Michael Buble.

June 4, 2011 Kate & Chris' Wedding

The Free Will Baptist Church was the setting for Kate & Chris' beautiful ceremony in Buxton, Maine. We provided sound for the ceremony and then made our way to Season's Grille where we had set up earlier in the day for a spectacular reception.

The Wedding Party was introduce to " All is Love " by Karen -O and the Kids. The Bride & Groom had their First Dance to " You and I "by Michael Buble .

It was a fun time and Kate's 7 year old brother, Benjamin , stole the show as DJ Pat's unofficial DJ helper spinning tunes and making cute announcements.

Special thanks to Mitchell Perrin for stepping in to help out with this wedding and several more throughout the season ! A Very special thank you to my wife, Cindy , who assisted with the Ceremony in Buxton :-)

May 28, 2011 Wedding Liz & Adam

In 2010 ; Maine DJ Patrick Daniels hosted a Surprise Party at The Gold Room in Portland . The clients were so impressed they called back months later and asked DJ Pat what date he had available so they could guarantee they had him for their wedding day celebration.

Liz & Adam celebrated their reception at Keeley the Katerer in Portland, Maine.

Liz & Adam had a tropical theme as they were married in the tropics earlier in the year.

A slideshow of the ceremony preceeded the Bride & Groom's introduction.

Their First Dance was " Come away with me " by Norah Jones.

May 21, 2011 Jen & Craig's Wedding

Double Platinum Celebrations made their debut at the Lewiston Ramada Inn to celebrate with Jen & Craig in grand style. The staff were very accommodating and made DJ Pat feel right at home.Guests enjoyed a nice mix of 70's and 80's classics while waiting for the Wedding Party Grand Entrance. " Signed, sealed, delivered" by Stevie Wonder welcomed in the wedding party and " Tik Tok " by Kesha, was the song for the newlyweds.A custom mix of contemporary song snippets made up their first dance.

Jen & Craig danced the night away with their guests ending the night with " Dirty Bit " by the Black Eyed Peas.
