We let you choose all of the songs, and also make sure that they are the correct versions and edits. We work with you from start to finish to plan your perfect, customized playlist. In 2013, the DO NOT PLAY list was just as important as the PLAY list, and we see this as a continuing trend for Maine brides in 2014.

The 2014 Brides are out early. All indications are that 2014  is going to be a banner year ! The Brides are looking early and booking early. We anticipate many dates to sell out and that's no easy feat with DPC, which has the largest , most talented award winning DJ staff in the State of Maine.

DJ Services and pricing

Disc Jockey rates vary based on talent, experience, emcee ability, service, coordination, equipment needed, music knowledge, mixing ability and personality.

Rates for the DJ industry vary greatly, ranging from $350.00 to over $5,000.00 with an average of $1,200.00 for a 4 hour booking. The best price is not always the best deal, especially if you are planning a wedding. As a matter of fact, surveys conclude that nearly 100% of brides would have spent more money on their entertainment and made it their #1 priority in hindsight.

A full-service disc jockey company will normally invest 12 to 30 hours to your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "4 hours". Consultations, music purchasing & editing, preparation, set-up and tear-down, education and other business related endeavors add up to the overall success of your special occasion.

October 1, 2011 Genevieve & Spencer's Wedding

Genevieve & Spencer were married at Bald Mountain Camp in Oqouassic, Maine.
The ceremony took place outside under a tent and the reception followed inside.

 The Wedding Party was introduced to " Signed , Sealed, Delivered " by Stevie Wonder and the Bride & Groom entered to " Happy Together" by the Turtles. The couple's First Dance was " Glory of Love " by Jimmy Durante.

July 9, 2011 Randy & Michelle's Wedding

Randy & Michelle had a lovely day wedding at the Coastal House in Wells, Maine. They were married earlier at Wells Beach on a beautiful day.

The Wedding Party was introduced to " Celebration " by Kool & the Gang and teh Bride & Groom danced to " Always & Forever " by Luther Vandross.

June 18, 2011 Jessica & Joe's Wedding

DJ Pat returned to the Holiday Inn by the Bay , where Double Platinum Celebrations has been a recommended vendor there for the past 5 years. Ceremony services were provided in one area of the facility and the reception took place in another part of the ballroom.

The Wedding Party were introduced to " Jump Around " by House of Pain and the Bride & Groom had their First Dance to " Tangled up in You " by Aaron Lewis .

This crowd brought their dancing shoes and filled the dance floor to a great mixture of club music and old school classics all night long !

June 4, 2011 Kate & Chris' Wedding

The Free Will Baptist Church was the setting for Kate & Chris' beautiful ceremony in Buxton, Maine. We provided sound for the ceremony and then made our way to Season's Grille where we had set up earlier in the day for a spectacular reception.

The Wedding Party was introduce to " All is Love " by Karen -O and the Kids. The Bride & Groom had their First Dance to " You and I "by Michael Buble .

It was a fun time and Kate's 7 year old brother, Benjamin , stole the show as DJ Pat's unofficial DJ helper spinning tunes and making cute announcements.

Special thanks to Mitchell Perrin for stepping in to help out with this wedding and several more throughout the season ! A Very special thank you to my wife, Cindy , who assisted with the Ceremony in Buxton :-)

May 29th, 2011 Kristina & Ted's Wedding

On a recommendation from a previous client in 2010, Ted & Kristina sought out the services of Double Platinum Celebrations DJ Services for their wedding at the historic Longfellow's Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Mass.

The Wedding party was introduced to " Glad all over " by the Dave Clark Five. The Bride & Groom were introduced to "At Last " by Etta James.

Lithuanian customs followed and the Bride & Groom danced their First Dance to " Wonderful World " by Louis Armstrong.
