May 20th, 2011 50th Anniversary Don & Nancy

On May 20th, 2011 ; Maine DJ Pat, had the opportunity to celebrate with friends from years past . Don & Nancy celebrated their 50th Anniversary Party with family & friends at The American Legion Post in Westbrook, Maine.

Don & Nancy danced to " Why do fools fall in Love ? " by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers .

They were married on April 1st 1951.

Congratulations to Don & Nancy !! Thank you to their children, Maureen & Don for re-connecting with DJ Pat and inviting us to share in this wonderful celebration !

May 14, 2011 Paige & Michael Wedding

On May 14th, Maine Wedding DJ, Patrick Daniels had the honor of DJ'ing at the York Harbour Reading Room . Guests enjoyed cocktail hour downstairs while listening to the Rat Pack , having appetizers, cocktails and watching the surf . After cocktail hour the staff welcomed everyone upstairs while the Bridal Party prepared for their Grand Entrance. "Stereo Love " welcomed the Wedding Party into the Grand Room , and Cold Play's " Viva La Vida " played for the Matron of Honor, Best Man, Maid of Honor , Bride & Groom.

Michael & Paige had their First Dance to " The Way you look tonight ." by Old Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra .

May 13th , 2011 Robert & Cassandra's Wedding

May 13th Maine DJ Patrick Daniels of Double Platinum Celebrations traveled to the Silver Spur in Mechanic Falls for Robert & Cassandra's wedding reception.

" Celebration " by Kool & the Gang welcomed the wedding party into the reception hall .

The couple's first dance was " Everything I Do , I Do it for you " by Bryan Adams.

May 7th, 2011 Kristen & Dave's Wedding

Wedding season kicked off with a bang at the Portland Country Club in Falmouth, Maine.

The ceremony took place upstairs on the top deck overlooking the green.

Following a Rat Pack style cocktail hour wedding introductions ensued.

The bridal party was introduced to " Tony's theme from Scar face ." A slideshow followed and then the newlyweds were introduced to " It just comes natural " by George Strait and then right into their first dance ," Give in to me " by Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester.

April 2011 Recap

The month of April started off with Maine DJ Patrick Daniels heading to Governor's Inn Waterville to celebrate Mary & Gary's 35th Wedding Anniversary. The April fools snowstorm the day before did not hinder the travel or party plans for this celebration !

The end of April saw DJ Pat & DJ Mark of Best Maine DJs take their DJ/MC skills to the airwaves of WMPG. They joined their good friend, DJ Diamond Dave , on his radio show to throw a birthday bash radio party in honor of ex-KISS guitarist, Ace Frehley's 60th birthday. Music , stories and cake rounded out the festivities .

DJ Kevin Wiacek helped Marshwood H.S. rock their Prom at the Portsmouth Sheraton Inn . DJ Kevin had the capacity crowd on their feet the whole night with his amazing mixes and awesome light show.

2011 Was an Amazing Wedding Season for Double Platinum Celebrations !

As 2011 is winding down and we are getting a moment to catch our breath, we are very grateful for the wonderful clients ( now friends ) we have had the pleasure working for.
